The PDF automatically contains two copies: one for the seller and one for the buyer. Both parties print the document and sign both copies.

For legal validity, both parties must sign the agreement by hand. Printing on paper is therefore recommended. In theory a qualified electronic signature is also possible, but it is uncommon for private car sales.
